The gothic style St. Stephen’s Catholic Church built in 1875, had sustained considerable deterioration due to water damage and years of neglect. The interior walls and ceilings required extensive plaster repair. A complex steel scaffolding system was installed to allow our painters to reach the 50-foot high ceilings.
Extreme care was needed to protect intricately carved wood Stations of the Cross, the pulpit, and the pipe organ enclosure. The ceilings and walls were returned back to their original conditions. Decorative sponge finishes were used on the walls and ceilings. Large cement plaster capitals were glazed and accent painted with gold paints.
