Ryan London
President
Ryan London, President of The Dependable Painting Company since 2024, joined the company in 2013 after earning a degree in Health & Safety from Slippery Rock University. Since stepping into the role of President, Ryan has remained actively involved in both project management and the company's day-to-day operations. He oversees a wide range of projects across all divisions of the company—commercial, industrial, and restoration. His project management portfolio includes high-profile clients and landmarks such as the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers, The Ritz-Carlton, Playhouse Square, The Garfield Monument, and numerous Cleveland Clinic facilities. In addition to his leadership at The Dependable Painting Company, Ryan serves as a board member of the Northern Ohio Painting and Taping Contractors Association (NOPTCA) and the union’s Painting Apprenticeship Board (FTIOR).

Matt Fortuna
Vice President
Matt Fortuna joined The Dependable Painting Company in 2015, bringing with him a strong background in Construction Management. He began his tenure as a Project Manager and Estimator before being promoted to Vice President in 2024. In his current role, Matt continues to manage projects—primarily large-scale and special projects—while also playing a key role in overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations. His project portfolio includes several high-profile developments such as the Roundstone Insurance Headquarters, Cross Country Mortgage Headquarters, CWRU Maltz Performing Arts Center, and the MetroHealth Apex Building. Matt is committed to industry excellence and safety. He serves as a Trustee on the Painter’s Health and Welfare Fund, is a member of the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) as well as an AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector. He is also OSHA 30 certified.

Matt Watroba
Director of Estimating
A graduate of Hiram College, Matt began his career with The Dependable Painting Company in 2010 as an estimator. Through dedication and expertise, he was promoted to Director of Estimating in 2024. In this role, he not only leads the estimating team but also oversees small to mid-sized projects, ensuring quality and efficiency from start to finish. Matt has contributed to a wide variety of high-profile projects throughout Northeast Ohio, including work for Case Western Reserve University, The Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Progressive Field, and many others. His experience spans diverse environments and complex project scopes, making him a vital asset to both the company and its clients.

Cindy Friedmann
Chief Financial Officer
As the granddaughter of the company’s founder, HC Hansen, Cindy grew up in the Dependable Painting family. Following her graduation from Miami University in 1982, Cindy started as office manager and then was promoted to estimator and project manager. In 2004, Cindy became president and majority owner. Cindy dedicated her time serving on many different professional organizations. She was a trustee for the Northern Ohio Painting and Taping Contractors Association (NOPTCA) and was co-chair on the union’s Painting Apprenticeship Board (FTIOR). Cindy also served as past president of the Ohio-Indiana Council of the Painting and Decorating Contractors and America (PDCA). For the last few years, Cindy has been dedicating her time teaching and mentoring the new ownership of Dependable Painting. She is looking forward to the new ownership leading the company into the next 100 years.

Anthony DiDonato
Project Manager
Anthony DiDonato joined The Dependable Painting Company in 2024, bringing a strong foundation in construction and a degree in Business Management. In a short time, Anthony has successfully led a diverse range of projects, including Progressive Field, Mentor Cleveland Clinic Physical Therapy, Cleveland Public Library facilities, and the Case Western Reserve University Anatomy Lab Renovation. With experience across various construction disciplines, Anthony is committed to delivering projects on schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards. A graduate of Notre Dame College, where he was a five-year member of the football team, Anthony draws on his leadership, communication, and teamwork skills to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Kyle Davanaugh
Assistant Project Manager
Kyle Davanaugh joined The Dependable Painting Company in January 2025, after graduating from the University of Akron. As Assistant Project Manager, Kyle plays a key role in supporting project coordination, facilitating communication between clients and crews, and ensuring that every project progresses smoothly. Kyle’s primary focus is on maintaining project timelines, meeting quality standards, and ensuring client satisfaction. He works closely with the team to address any challenges that arise, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed efficiently and professionally.

Sam Lofton
Assistant Project Manager
Sam Lofton began his career at Dependable Painting in January 2025, bringing with him a background in business and leadership developed through both academics and athletics. While earning his bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Notre Dame College, Sam played collegiate football, where he gained a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and accountability that translates seamlessly into his role today. Since joining the team, Sam has taken on the responsibilities of coordinating painting projects, communicating with clients, managing crews, and ensuring each job is completed on time and to a high standard. He is also currently pursuing his master’s degree at Davenport University, further strengthening his knowledge in business and project management.
