Cleveland State University Natatorium

• Abrasive blast and paint the ceiling and walls
• Build scaffold and rig equipment for safe access to the ceiling and walls
• Clean and recoat the pool with epoxy paint
• Final cleanup

The ceiling, walls, miscellaneous trim and the pool were cleaned and painted. The ceiling required abrasive blasting to remove old peeling paint. Afterward we applied specified rust inhibitive bonding primer and finish coat.

The swimming pool was recoated with epoxy. Negative air machines were used to ventilate the pool during the application and curing process to keep fumes to a minimum. Air monitoring was performed by CSU. The project was completed ahead of schedule and the pool was ready for the start of the Fall semester.
